Victor Riches is President and COO of the Goldwater Institute.
Prior to joining the Goldwater Institute, Victor served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Budget to Governor Doug Ducey. Prior to that, Victor was employed as the Goldwater Institute's Vice President of External Affairs.
Victor’s public service career includes 17 years at the Arizona Legislature. During his tenure at the Legislature, Victor was an analyst and policy advisor on several committees, including Appropriations, Judiciary, Government Reform, Education and Commerce. He is the only person to have served as Chief of Staff of both the State Senate and House of Representatives. While at the Legislature, Victor spearheaded the passage of pension reform, school choice measures and the largest tax cuts in Arizona history.

He previously served as a Board Member on Moss Adams: CPA Firm, Phoenix FBI Citizens Academy, Scottsdale Chamber, Scottsdale Airport Advisory Commission, and is a Lifetime Member of the Scottsdale Charros.
Jim has published and or been quoted in over 270 magazine and newspaper articles and has produced the Annual Greater Scottsdale Airpark 2010 and 2030 Reports since 1989.
Lea Marquez Peterson
President/CEO, Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Lea Marquez Peterson is the President/CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and its affiliate chambers in Douglas, Ambos Nogales and Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Lea has been an entrepreneur in Arizona for many years and has served as the President/ CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber since 2009. The Tucson Hispanic Chamber serves the business community in the bilingual, bi-cultural region of the Arizona-Sonora border and was recognized as the Hispanic Chamber of the Year in 2013 by the U.S Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The chamber represents over 1800 member businesses and in partnership with the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the largest chambers in the State of Arizona.
She has been appointed by Governor Doug Ducey to co-chair the Arizona Zanjeros, a business leadership group formed to ensure the state continues to flourish economically by driving business growth and promoting Arizona’s extraordinary assets. In addition, she co-chaired Governor Doug Ducey’s Transition Team subcommittee on Economic Development, Entrepreneurship and Trade in 2014. She serves on the Boards of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, University of Arizona Foundation, the Latino Coalition, Visit Tucson, Tucson Business Alliance, Arizona Town Hall and the Pima County Workforce Investment Board. She is currently the Chairman of the Board for the St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson.
VP Communications, Hensley Beverage Company
Doug Yonko serves as VP Communications for Hensley Beverage Company, one of the nation’s and Arizona’s largest beverage distributor, which employs more than 1200 employees. Hensley is headquartered in Phoenix with six branch facilities throughout the state. Primary brands distributed include Anheuser-Busch beers, Quench Fine Wines, spirits, craft beers, and non-alcoholic products.
Having worked at Hensley for 34 years, he currently directs the company’s governmental affairs, communications, and public relations. In addition, he works with various organizations pertaining to alcohol responsibility and he oversees Hensley’s community outreach activation.
Doug serves on Hensley’s Executive Committee and also represents Hensley on various community and business organization boards including: Governor Ducey appointed board member of the Arizona Workforce and Innovation Council and board member Arizona Sports & Tourism Authority; current Chairman of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Arizona Chamber of Commerce (Chairman 2012-2013); Board Member Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association (Chairman 2011-2013) - recognized as Tourism Champion in 2013 by the state of Arizona and recently awarded the 2016 Tourism Legacy Award; former Board Member Valley Hotel and Resort Association; former Board Member of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce; Board Member and current Chairman of Beer and Wine Distributors of Arizona.
He and his wife of 35 years, Elisabeth, reside in Scottsdale and are the parents of two daughters.
