AZFAST Grants
This program is specifically designed to serve as a catalyst for techpreneurs to develop and commercialize global technology by accessing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) federal funding. The AZFAST grant program offers a reimbursable grant of up to $5,000 of eligible SBIR/STTR expenses. Commerce frequently requests applications from qualified techpreneurs for the AZFAST grant program. When a grant solicitation is issued by Commerce, a qualified techpreneur can submit an application to Commerce. Upon award of a competitive AZFAST grant, the techpreneur can either: - Attend an approved SBIR/STTR grant writing conference or workshop.
- Begin working one-on-one with an approved grant writing provider, who is contracted with Commerce. Together the provider and techpreneur will organize and write a SBIR/STTR proposal that can be submitted to a soliciting federal agency.
